The key word for me is "negotiation". You don't need to negotiate with anyone re a SPP. Negotiation requires 2 parties, maybe a cornerstone or sophisticated investor. But even with the later there's not huge amount of negotiating - here's the money - here's the price. Advanced stages of negotiations to me means a little bit more than the simple stuff. Then again I could be wrong. How many sleeps to go?
It's a good point chook and I certainly expect to wrong on a number of my assumptions especially with regard to the composition.
Given that last time around you could have bought on market cheaper than the SPP, that may well be off the table.
