An interesting post; speculation is vital in trading halts and especially when its trading so keep it coming.
Im not shooting down the prospect however I will provide insight into why I dont think it will happen:
Tony Walsh is the chairman or SRR and secretary of AGO. He is the only guy that seems to be left in the office and over the past week has been answering all shareholder concerns. I am assuming he would be busier if it was a takeover of SRR. Furthermore SRR would have had to go into trading halt, as soon as a company comes up with a figure (in this case 120mil) they would have forward provisioning for the funds. If this forward provisioning included a tilt at SRR then it would be on trading halt.
