You are missing the point that the shares will be massively diluted because of all the extra millions of shares issued. Shares $1.04 a few days ago are now only worth somewhere between 80 to 90 cents now. The only way to minimize the damage (as a current share holder) would be to participate in the capital raising and retail investors have been denied that opportunity.

I believe they would have been an excellent take up on any offer by retail investors.

Thankfully for me due to dumb luck, I sold out the day before the trading halt was announced because I needed the money for something else. Initially I was kicking myself, but now thank my lucky stars I got out in time.
