I have found total foreign licensed CNCA manufacturers are 77.
There're total 374 foreign brands obtained a CIQ accreditation; A2M, BAL & WHA have one as well, BUB not. These 374 brands have over 1,000 formulations/series, the new Chinese regulation will force total foreign formulations to be reduced from 1,000+ to only 231 as and each manufacturer is permitted to register 3 formulations/series (one formulation/series can have Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3) only.
To be able to continue selling in China's market from 1 January 2018 (for those inventories imported before 1 January 2018, still can be sold), an infant formula company have to obtain a Chinese CIQ accreditation first, then be nominated by a CNCA manufacturer.
