You are correct that I do trade on the smaller cap stocks like CYU, NKP, POH, PLH, JKA etc. Since the placements are done betwen 15-20% discount to the market I usually make a quick 10-15% within the first week or two.
I find that entering in the placements give me a buffer which is especially important when the market sentiment is down.
There are those that I hold longer term as well. The ones that I hold longer term are those that have a blueprint.
In regards to AQC I am still on the sidelines watching. The company has less than $1million in the piggy bank and know that they have to raise more money. If the share price is 10cents then I am sure the placement would be like 8.5cents, and if the share price is 6cent like today then they will have to do a placement at 5cents. Either way if I enter a placement I get the buffer.
