Why mess around with retail shareholders who dither and complain about the smallest uncertainty, when in fact there's a boatload of serious investors around who want to make some money.

At least this retail offering pays lip service to the ditherers who will use far more of the company's resources to take up their meagre allocation, whereas in company dealings with the serious investor he is a mere phone call away, and to boot, comes to a resolution within hours.
