I admit it does seem "rather glacial" at the moment, but in 3.5 years (including a GFC) I've made 270% by just holding and sitting on a fundamentally good stock.
Those sort of returns would be acceptable to most investors over that timeframe, or try those returns compounded over 10 or 20 years again most investors would be overjoyed. Not trying to spruik here just pointing out that what seems to be slow and "glacial", really isn't.
I see traders and investors who want an instant return or they freak out. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are companies.
