It's all to do with time it would take to do a RI vs SPP.
they made the correct choice imo. A rights issue may not have been supported and they probably read some of the comments on HC and decided there was a tad too much of a negative sentiment :)

I think we need more script out there as we are too illiquid to attract any fundies so I am not concerned in the least about dilution.

What will happen though is the oppies will take a hit as they are simply the sweetner.

That said if an announcement or 2 happens quickly they will be soaked up very quickly with around 18 months still to run on them imo
