they have 30% of their cash in the states....and 35% here.....whilst it has not performed well for anyone who bought it before last friday.
And that's partly why I think it tanked today as the share prices of banks rose. Lower interest rates in Australia are good for banks as it may reduce bad debts but bad for QBE as its sitting money in Australia earns less interest. Market is not factoring in that as the AU dollar bubble bursts, US dollar trading income stated in AU dollars.
