Never thought I would say it about a cap raising but I see this as good news ie. No cap raising No satellite No sp growth

Newsat stated on page 6 of their 2011 agm preso that the funding for Jabiru-1 was to come from 2 sources:
Export Credit 75-80%
Equity 20-25%
There was reportedly strong Equity interest from the US,London and Asia and that funding was expected to be fully approved in early 2012.

this announcement is for "a proposed significant capital raising"

I imagine that the Export Credit Agency in the US would want to see the colour of our money before stumping up with the cash. So unless this cap raising is something from left field, this to me is another box being ticked and it's all systems go for Jab-1 funding in place early 2012.
