However there are lots of other companies that have far less cash than KGD who it would be more appropriate to scare punters with these magic words.
KGD has a $97 million market cap, so it is not that low a share price - it could be considered "mid-tier" among gold companies.
Having said that a 2 million ozs gold JORC resource probably deserves better; the market is only valuing each oz at around $40 - with gold currently at $1,580 it surely is worth more than that. Most resource oz valuations for explorers would be in the range $75 to $200.
