You lot always like to come up with wild comspiracy theories that likely doesn't reflect the facts in any way.
How about this- the announcement will do just what they've told you- you'll get updated on Shabeel North. And if the result is negative, it's not because of some shadowy group covering up a find of billions of barrels of oil to allow the 'big boys' to hoover up cheap shares as someone will undoubtably suggest, it'll be because they actually didn't find commercial oil.
Sometimes you need to stop trying to read between the lines, and actually just start reading the lines.
It's a sell, as it's always been IMO. You don't know when the third well is going to be, the first two haven't exactly inspired confidence, and there's no saying how much dilution will take place until that point. Before someone points out to me the strong cash position, remember that Range from 2005-2008 was in much the same situation many times, and yet their cash got eroded because of numerous stalling incidents in Puntland- with the result that investors from that period were practically wiped out by dilution. You don't know the same won't happen here, at all.
