OK so which LIC's do you like ? personally I hold WAM & MFF and am considering CAM ( Clime ), Mirrabooka, and WHF ( Whitefield ) MIR has been an outstanding performer for 10 years but is at premium to NTA so I'll wait. WHF has a great portfolio of Banks & Industrials ( no resources ) which appeals to me as I think BHP & RIO will struggle from now on, plus it's at a 5% discount to NTA. CAM has also been a strong performer and I have great respect for John Abernethy as a value investor. Don't like AFI or Argo. Their portfolios are just too much the same as the Index so may as well just buy an ETF. plus they are currently trading at big premiums to NTA which is crazy. agree CDM's recent performance not their best but no-one gets it right all the time, and their past performances have been outstanding for several years. Share price has fallen recently closer to NTA. 8% fully franked yield is very enticing also.
