i have seen similar acreages before ( i have a feeling there are more opportunities in that region) i just wasnt convinced sundance wanted to go that journey.., and my view on the price per acre, it is fair, the acres really are restricted by the obvious body of water there, so you have to be able to drill from only one location, sometimes you may have to access the acres by drilling off the permit area and paying other landowners royalties or a fee for that,, so a lot of factors go against the mineral owners due to excessively restricted places to drill and to whether pooling is allowed.. i am sure the negotiations on the price reflect the risk.

once you establish the acres are productive your value per acre increases dramatically

but imho its a very fair price for the area.. very fair..

as its relatively contiguous.. its a massive upside. so great news on that front

the address is good, real real good..
