Some light reading for those interested in this stuff. Basically it is a research paper that shows why generating quarterlys and announcements affects trading and sp, taking advantage of reactions by sh who rely on one-sided information (announcements and quarterly released by co.s). Discussed on here just before and after a Sud announcement on the thread about Communications. I've attached a link to the abstract that gives the bottom line.
