The most important factor that is totally absent from your error-filled (even you admit that) calculations is the geostrategic importance to Japan of what Lynas produces. Rare earths that cannot be obtained anywhere else (outside of China) in the amounts Japan needs but from Lynas for the next few years. And Japan has learned its lesson about relying on China for rare earths back in 2010.

How much is that worth to the Japanese economy?

NONE of you mistake-laden numbers reflect this simple fact.

From the first page of the FY16 financial Report:

"Throughout the financial year, our lenders have continued to support the business."

"The Company is in negotiations with both lender groups regarding amendments to the terms of its loan facilities."

Lynas has renegotiated payment extensions with the help of our lenders before. The lenders have been very helpful with Lynas debt extensions in the past because of the geostrategic importance of what Lynas produces. They will most likely do so again.

Your calculations and your short-sighted conclusions are ridiculous.
