1) First Banks Lends them as much as they can swallow to fund a mining project. (Remember Santos)

2) Once they are in Debt and starts sinking, Bank tells them too much loan please pay back.

3). Capital Raising Follows
..
Only winners are Mining CEOs and Banks which makes money both ways (First by Funding the project, latter through Capital Raising)
