The 50 comes from the registered EAP trial details, where it says there were to be “approximately 50 adult participants”:

When it was submitted on 24th April, it said EAP was no longer available. As far as I’m aware, there is nothing firm that excludes the possibility of there having been a second group of EAP participants after their first 12, but before the 24th April. However, this is seeming increasingly unlikely, as further EAP results would be market relevant. The lack of a further EAP announcement yet is suggestive that there were only the first 12.
