another red flag is, quality assets dont sit idle, and dont sit in idle hands. I see with a lot with gold projects like VAN, BLK etc - if they were quality, then one of the bigger boys would have picked them up.
My iniital thoughts on VXR was someone like SFR, on the hunt for a new copper asset would have snapped it up - yet theyve gone offshore, so i'd say theyve been inside the dataroom and not seen what they like. Could have been the EPA hurdle, maybe something else contributed.
happy to see the funds being used for exploration, but the CR discount was huge, not sure im going to double down with the SPP
