    Yep, like most people in this current bubble market he has little idea about share trading. He referred to "contracts expiry" for shorters (obviously not understading how CFDs work).

    When the amateurs pile into the stock market then pricing disconnects from reality. Look at Tesla, Gamestop, AMC, any uranium company at the moment (despite uranium futures not moving).... it's the blind leading the blind at the moment. But the dumbest play has got to be Qantas, a company that is undeniably in financial trouble that is valued at HIGHER than its peak in pre-covid times. Amateurs look at the share price and see that it's lower than its peak and don't understand the dilutionary effect of capital raises nor consider the massive debt that the company took on during covid. It's beyond belief how knowledgeable market participants are at the moment. But that's what causes bubbles like this one!
