Two different sources pointing to a capital raising. One recent and one published a few month ago. That might be what AGL is brewing?

“Now, I am sure that their adviser is absolutely chomping at the bit to raise equity for them, and if you raise at a big enough discount with a placement, maybe you can get the institutional shareholders that are so notable by their absence on their register back, but as always I struggle to see how these things aren’t mutually exclusive with a valuation anywhere close to the current share price,” Mr Samter continued.
Mr Samter offered to make a half-page apology in The Australian Financial Review if he was proved wrong and in 12 months’ time AGL had demerged without raising equity and with a pair of businesses that had a higher equity value than the current market cap of $5.2 billion.
