I actually don't think it's a matter of having your cake and eating it too. Why wouldn't PNA be speaking with other fananciers? They would be stupid not to. The main reason for that is they don't want to be held over a barrel by GSJBW at the 11th hour and have no options if they are not satisfied with negotiations.

So it's simply how business is done. In the boom times, you never hear about it or think twice about it when you do. In this environment, it is a hot topic - and perhaps rightly so to some extent.

I suspect PNA will offer a very attractive option deal at these depressed prices to sweeten the deal for the financier, whoever that may be. That may be the carrot that gets it over the line...
