Looks like Coppertop hit nail on the head in one of the previous posts. 1 for 10 stapled securities reconstruction.

So at today's closing price new units would be worth $3.35.

I think the idea is that a unit worth $3.35 looks more respectable than 10 units worth 0.335 each.

Well, as long as they announce the guidance of 45c as well.
Bit more would not hurt either IMO.

GDP have done same thing, I wonder what difference it made to their SP.
