The capital return will reduce your cost base, that is the $0.75 is reduced by $0.29. If you sold at $0.33, you would make a capital loss but a smaller one due to the capital return. If a capital gain were applicable, it would increase the gain you make due to reducing the cost base.
The dividend as you say is taxable however it is fully franked so you will get franking credits which will offset some or all tax that may apply.
