Australia's startling wealth divide is highlighted in the article below and indicates that for a huge number of Aussies , Australia is far from being "The Lucky Country". It is also interesting to note that 5 out of the top 6 paying professions are in Medicine. No wonder the many Aussies can't afford specialist medical treatment and that Medicare is being ground into the ground by "rip off" specialist fees despite the lowest paid workers paying 1.5% of their minimal salaries to Medicare.

With such disparity between the rich and poor, one has to seriously ask how long will it take for a French-like Yellow Vest movement to organise and hit the streets here? In the interim, I guess Pauline Hanson and the Aussie Populist pollies will pick up the " disgruntled " vote.
