I would have held RIA earlier had I not struggled with the moral issue of the CDI and Ghana's cocoa industry . After some thought I realised that investing in these Third World countries is a way to help their future . Nigeria may not be a good example but there are plenty of others .
The CDI has elections in a fortnight , the first since the civil unrest of 2001 . There may be a new era heralding in CDI . Perhaps big oil money can help . Issues like this are not restricted to West Africa .

Anyway to cut a long story short , today I decided to sponsor a child through World Vision . I should have done this years ago . Unfortunately WV does not operate in the CDI but it does in Ghana .
May I recommend to cashed up ( at least on paper ) holders that they visit the website and check out the sponsorship available to Ghanaian children . It feels quite good and is a trade off with my conscience .
