Don't be surprised if John Neale starts with a small purge of "de-acquisitions" of stuff acquired in FOH's time and for which JN doesn't think is a great fit going forward.
He will want his legacy to be founded upon taking over as squeaky-clean a ship as he can.
One off write-offs are an all too common scenario when a long time CEO hands over the reins.
Having said that, hats off to FOH, a champion of the industry. He made many, many acquisitions, but simple logic suggests you cannot hit every ball out of the park.
There's got to be some trimming up in there somewhere.
FWIW I will be subscribing for my $15k worth but expect to only get about $10k. What say you?
