Takeover: Possible but how likely do you think its is that any prospective suitor would successfully acquire the company at $1 a share? Not very likely at all. Even a low ball offer would be at a massive premium to the current price and would still likely be rejected outright as a pre-cursor to a bidding war.

Patients: Doesn't matter if your candidate is a CEO, CFO, Nanny, Cleaner or clinical trial participant...you'd better make sure you get a good one. Which is EXACTLY what the company is doing.
