There'll be another spike when another announcement's made. And it has to fall well below my new buy-in price (if I get them of course) for me to be losing anyway. I don't really care how high the spike runs after I sell, when the profit's in my account that's all that matters.
No-one rings a bell when the spike's at it's peak!!
