Masta, I'm not qualified to satisfactorily explain the mechanics of capping, but I have watched the process after someone else has pointed it out to me. The most recent one which still appears to be in progress is HAW. They are drilling for IO in the Yilgarn and so are some of their neighbours. The SP should be realistically around 15% higher and would be except every time it edges up, sells push it back down. Reasons aren't clear as yet but as there is a lot of interest in the area I expect someone to show their hand eventually.
Have you tried doing a search on the subject, I haven't as yet. The most obvious reason to me would be to gain a cheaper entry point eventually, but there would be other motives that escape me. Cheers
