A "fish", in American smart circles, is the poor sod who's deliberately singled out ahead, picked out and used, left with the BIG bill after a table full of diners, or a bar load of drinkers, gradually, stealthily, drift away - just in time to avoid having to pay - for anything.
We, the Australian public, are Rudd's carefully selected mug "fish".! We're singled out, by him and his Labor cohorts, as the ones having to pick up all their bills - he, and they, slinking out, laughing smugly up all their sleeves, long before the waiter appears - the fish left alone, finally - to settle the debt.
IT is an absolute insult that we, having been given a previous date - now are being left in the dark. It's all the same Party - dodgy, devious, and dirty, in their sneaky machinations, as usual. Yes, we ARE the "fish."
