I see one of the major problems is that aboriginal activists are ascribing their modern concept of land ownership to those that were here pre invasion/settlement (i dont care what you call it).

Prior to European settlement Aboriginals held their land by force of occupation. they did not have a code defining boundaries between tribes.
they protected or took land based on their capability.
Just as humanity has done throughout its entire history.
Violence and conquest. This was their law.

It is only modern day law on land ownership that allows clear boundaries to defined and respected without the need for violence.

Aboriginals were dispossessed of their land based on their own land ownership laws.
They are not unique, it is the history of humanity.
    Modern Australians are not culpable.

I dont know any Australian aboriginals that wish they were living in another country, must be too bad here.

Sad we have become a country of whiners, but it is what it is.
Still wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Happy Australia day to all living here today and respect to the fascinating history of those that were here before European settlement.
    A shared history of humanity.
