Debates on TA are common. For several reasons. But you're right.

For me , anything that helps me trade better is a good thing.
I'm more the 'technician' personality, being after repeatable, reliable methodology. I've been doing it now for a living for over 10 years, after trading and running businesses for decades. So I challenge some folks.

In fact, if someone could prove the reliability of trading with astrology (or a Ouija board!) better than 70% over the long term,I'd incorporate that too!
It's also a case of different strokes for different folks.

DFL and others here have helped me hugely, and I appreciate it.(probably more than any other thread I've been on) And steered me in the direction of some great websites and substacks, and I appreciate this guidance. I'm old, but not too old to learn.

If stuff works for me, great. If it doesn't, I don't bother. I'm after the truth - and an edge !

Unfortunately I do arc up a little sometimes as ,'in other places' you can find guys/gals that have watched a couple of 20 yo's TA youtube videos and attempt to espouse some amount of unreliable crap.
These same guys have never seen a crash in their lives, or traded for a living with serious intent.

It can and does essentially create a false perception among social media folk that TA is just a game/toy. It ain't.

So I must admit , I call them out.

Sometimes my trigger finger is a little bit jumpy.
