Problem is I believe, they have the upper hand as they have a signed contract with and you, holding your credit card details and have a great willingness to call your bluff.
They then debit your credit card for the damage, and its up to you to prove that you are in the clear and it all made up, with a whole lot excuses to why they have mixed you up with the wrong person that hired the car previously.
Surely, with the user rating systems that are online these days their must be clear evidence that some companies are not providing an honest service.
Should be an inquest into the shoddiness of it all. They are really playing on the tourists also, Shame !!
