Way Back in the day I hung out with some blokes ( not guys as in US. vocab) who worked on rally cars & this mini parked across the driveway. We worked until just after midnight & the car was still there so we rolled out some empty drums, lifted the car up a & sat one under each wheel way up in the air. We watched as the owner eventually came walking along the street wondering why his mini was now much taller than every other car in the street. Another time, same workshop some commodore parked in the driveway blocking the exit all night. Next day the owner went to drive off to work only to find the car wouldn't move. An hour or so later the NRMA eventually discovered the tail shaft had been removed & was nowhere to be found.
