    These Insurers are part of the Australian Insurance Holdings Pty Ltd operation who I think are a licensed Aust Insurer. Check the APRA website.

    They specialize in Call Centre Type Car Insurance sales so they have very low overheads. They are very competitive. They claim to write premiums of $800m in South Africa, UK & Oz. And they have 300 employees in Oz. 1 Million policies worldwide.

    I don't think they have anything to do with Budget Hire Car.

    The Multi National Insurance Group I work for does significant private Motor business with them in Oz so I think they would check out Ok.
