I let mine slip a couple of years ago. Dinted my boot later in the year but found a 2nd hand one same colour for $200 and tossed in a couple of slabs to have it buffed and fitted. That was less than my excess would have been. I've also let my house and health insurances lapse, That's nearly $200/wk I'm saving.
Are they spreading the higher costs of EV repairs do ya think?
