I've just taken a cover with AAMI on a new car (not yet collected from Dealer). When I read your post, I just went through the exercise on ASI and got quote which is very similar indeed - beaten by about $18 for someone who drives less than 3,000 per year. I just took the AAMI deal as it looked much better than the Toyota one offered which was nearly $256 more although I upped the Excess by a couple of hundred on the AAMI quote accepted.
