    The high octane fuel has fewer impurities. Our basic fuel is fairly dirty and produces more pollution and residue than it should. ( Thanks to crap refining)

    Providing you also change your filter and engine oil regularly, combined with high octane fuel, your engine will last much longer. Pulling it down exposes a remarkably clean engine compared to standard fuel.

    Is it worth it? That really depends on so many variables.

    My advice, stick to standard, change your oil and filter regularly. Don't ever ever let a dealer do your servicing. Learn to do the oil and filter your self. If you can't, try and find a local shop you can trust and instruct them to only change the oil and filter, nothing more. Once a year, get a full check up just in case you have something developing.
