Well took the Supra for a drive, first time in a while as my son had it for a few months.

Put the foot down and briefly got to 3500 rpm by which time I'm doing well over 100kmh, switch on cruise control and it reves at 2200rpm maintaining that speed. On one steeper incline it briefly increased to 2500 RPM but other wise all I get in minor increases, I noted that on declines RPM was maintained but engine was like coasting

Driving on normal roads I hardly get passed 2500 rpm before I am at the speed limit and need to back off

I find it hard to believe that a little car will jump from 3000rpm to 4-5k rpm, I'm thinking that is about red line
