I don’t think it would take a lot to make EV very attractive for small vehicles outback and rough country

Electric has some enormous natural advantages

Maximum HP at zero revs
Instant power
Silky smooth application of power
smooth braking
Water crossing

It’s almost specially engineered for sand, mud, rock traverse, long water crossings

about the only disadvantage atm is weight

if range and weight could improve - it’s as close to perfect as it could be
