Strange how you didn’t tell us about these recalls a while back

“Toyota Hilux has been recalled for fire risk on multiple occasions:

In May 2021, Toyota recalled 683 examples of the 2020-2021 Hilux Rogue dual-cab ute due to potential faults with the electronic roller cover that could lead to short circuiting, overheating, and a fire risk.[4][5] The affected vehicles were manufactured between May and October 2020.

Additionally, in December 2020, Toyota issued a recall for over 74,000 popular models, including the petrol-powered Hilux, due to a potential fuel pump failure that could cause the engine to stall while driving or, in the worst case, lead to a vehicle fire.[1] This recall affected Hilux models built between 2013 and 2019.

So in summary, the Hilux has faced two major recalls related to fire risks - one involving the electronic roller cover in 2020-2021 models, and another concerning the fuel pump in models from 2013 to 2019.[1][4][5]
