I saw on Buy Hold Sell on live wire markets today about CAR and SEK being replaced by newer and modern business models ie Facebook/LinkedIn etc. i always take these spruikers ‘advice’ with a grain of salt but it raised an interesting prospect. I’ve seen Facebook Marketplace and interested in a discussion as to whether this type of model would supersede the need for CAR and other internet stocks. I see the potential for the strong network effects to be developed, more so from the younger generation. I’ve held CAR for about 4 years and interested in it’s future.
