What I find interesting (and would be keen to hear other opinions on) is the use of free listing services (e.g. Gumtree, Facebook marketplace) vs. a Carsales. I'm willing to pay the 60 or 70 bucks to sell my vehicle because I find it attracts more genuine buyers, but I'd be interested to hear the general view - are free listing services a genuine threat to Carsales' dominance? Judging by CAR's cashflow, it seems plenty of people are willing to fork out to get their vehicle in front of the right audience...
