I love your "dumb blind optimism" The copper price has gone up the A$ has gone down and so has ozl in Feb 2012 I think this was worth $11 and has had a steady progression down since. Personally I attribute this steady decline to the board and senior management.
If you were able to get rid of the Board, the Head office in Melbourne and the office in Adelaide and bring them under the roof of another mining company what value would you then put on OZL. The Co would have to be Aust given the location of PH although this may not be a prob for the current Govt. I'm thinking someone big with a copper interest nearby that could get a Govt grant to build a smelter, Plus an enrichment plant, plus a desal plant. Would beat pouring money into the auto industry.
