Apologies @timboc , enhanced oil recovery (EOR) using CO2 is an established technology, frequently referred to as CCU, Carbon Capture and Utilisation. I highly doubt pumping graphite, a solid as opposed to a gas, underground would be effective for EOR purposes. In any case why bother when it can be sold and used for batteries etc above ground ?
