A contract is worthless if you can't secure the farmland...

A contract is worthless if you can't secure the farmland necessary to provide the carbon sink. So if you have an inferior product for farmers that is more of an issue. There is no shortage of dual purpose tree crops for carbon sinks that will generate cashflow along the life of the carbon sink ... until COZ add more trees to their list (ie not just mallees) they could find it impossible to secure farmland to realise these contracts. Now the hard work begins ...
