    Nicolelee,

For the QLD Gov to not allow UCG to progress because of the CSG players would entail serious doubt in business and fairness. Your right to suggest they have heaps of money the CGGer's but to think they would influence the Gov's decision is a long bow to pull. They will make heaps of money no matter what happens and UCG operations would have little or no impact. Remember, a lot of these companies of contracts already in place for their gas.

To say no on environmental grounds, ensuring CNX and LNC can prove their trials without any mishaps (environmentally) would also be path ill trodden. Looking at the past mishaps of the other CSGER's you would have to be pretty game to say no when it has already happened and yet their mishaps go little unoticed.

Imagine the scenario of NO, on what basis would they base this on. Legally, if No was the answer I'm sure legal eagles would have a ball proving otherwise. Remember, precedence as already been set on many cases and yet they are still allowed to operate.

As far as Bob Brown goes, if it was up to him and his greenie hippies nothing but FART power would get through and as far as listening to some disgruntled ex-employee rant on, just show you how stupid he his for giving him the time of day.
