I think the carbon tax fear thing is being way over done. A lot like the GST was before it was introduced 10 years ago. Once it happened nothing much actually changed.
An unfortunate effect of Tony Abbotts virulent downramping of the carbon tax is that he also downramping the economy in the process and stifling investment. His fear campaign, which is simply a stratergy for him to move into the lodge, may also become a self fulfilling prophecy and actually start a recession. Its a pretty high price for Australia to pay just so he can fulfil his political ambitions.
The LNP has some good talent in its ranks but Abbott isn't one of them
Hopefully his ranting s won't effect LYC's share price to much.
