I am wondering whether GNS would derive considerable benefits from a carbon tax ?
There is potential for plantations established after 1989 to be used to offset carbon taxes isn't there ?
A couple of companies establishing plantations to sequester carbon, CCF and COZ, jumped yesterday after the govt announced it would bring in a carbon tax.
I think GNS plantations could also be regarded as carbon sinks too ?
Could this be why PPT has upped its stake in GNS ?
